Zia Antonia

“Zia” is Corsican, and Italian, for “Aunt”, and Zia Antonia is Céline’s great-aunt. There was a very strong bond between the two: it was Zia Antonia who instilled Céline’s love for the beliefs, traditions, history, stories and legends of Corsica. Céline wanted to pay tribute to her aunt: hence the idea of creating good luck charms was born. The brand also produces a wide range of candles.

Jean Christophe Bouteillon, who works alongside Céline, specialises in the art of creation, in particular prêt-à-porter (clothes in bleu de chine) and leather goods (bags in Corsican cowhide leather). The two artists work together in the same shop, at 1 rue Neuve St Roch in Bastia.
