Morning: Rossiglione, a historical village in the Stura Valley on the border with Piedmont, is characterised by a dual soul: Rossiglione Superiore and Rossiglione Inferiore, evidence of a past marked by both rural life and industrial development linked to ironworking and the proximity of the Turin-Genoa railway line. Rossiglione Superiore houses the Parish Church of Santa Caterina and the Oratory of San Sebastiano, while Rossiglione Inferiore captivates with its medieval bridge and the Oratory of Nostra Signora Assunta. The territory of Rossiglione is included in the Beigua Natural Park - a UNESCO Geopark, which offers scenery of great beauty and trails suitable for excursions, walks and outdoor activities. Its complex history, once divided between different dioceses, still leaves visible traces in its architecture, religious traditions and the strong sense of identity that unites its inhabitants.

LunchTaste the local specialities, such as the renowned focaccia lunga di Rossiglione, made with maize flour, and the tasty farinata di ceci (chickpea flatbread), in one of the restaurants that enliven the village.
Afternoon: Tiglieto, a small municipality in the Ligurian hinterland in the Val d'Orba, is surrounded by woods, meadows and streams, making it an ideal destination for hikers and nature lovers. The origins of the village date back to Roman times, with the agro-pastoral settlement of Civitacula, while the present name appears only in the late Middle Ages, probably linked to the presence of lime trees. The heart of local history is the Abbey of Santa Maria alla Croce, founded in 1120 by the Cistercians, one of the oldest Cistercian monastic complexes in Italy and the first to be built outside France. The Romanesque-style abbey comprises a church, convent and cloister, and was for centuries the main settlement in the area. Near the Orba torrent there is a stone bridge built by the monks, a historical and engineering testimony immersed in the evocative natural landscape.
